I have been a patient of Mr Bailey & his excellent team for over 3 yrs. All staff have been 5* for kindness, sensitive & superb care. Wards are spotless, great care re cleanliness & hygiene. My latest op found me enjoying the luxury of a single bedded room with ensuite bathroom but leaving door open so I could see nurse's station & didn't feel isolated. I have always felt so safe in Mr Bailey & his care team through several fairly major procedures, and found follow up care excellent & results too. So nice to be treated as a person, who may be frightened or unsure but always included as part of the team. Nothing has ever been too much trouble - one sleepless night pressed call button & 5 minutes later a nurse was making me a cup of tea & really listening to my fears. I only came to Winchester in the 1st case as it had the shortest waiting time - & 3 yrs later I am so very glad I did. Cannot recommend the whole team more highly - even the food was good!! Only problem is lack of parking space & that is better (and cheaper) than other big hospitals. So, a very satisfied client indeed - thank you all!!!!!

I can not fault the treatment received, every person on the team that treated me before during and after the operation gave 100% and it gave me great confidence because not only were they very professional but also very nice people.

As a former patient who recently had a rather complex knee problem, my opinion is that Doctor Christian Bailey is a very professional Orthopaedic surgeon, who knew exactly what was needed for my poorly knee and did it brilliantly. He is very knowledgeable , clear, and explained to me accurately what was going to happen and the post-operatory evolution. Everything prospected turned out exactly so, and thankfully I have now gained back 100% functionality of my left knee. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Bailey as a very skilled surgeon. THANK YOU!

My stay with the Royal Hampshire County Hospital, being a very brief visit, (emitted Thursday had a full knee replacement surgery and was home Friday,) staff at the St. Cross ward that I came in contact with was second to none, A really good experience and the knees....... excellent. Thank you.

I had a knee operation 30 years ago, which left me with some residual pain. As time wore on the pain got so bad that it affected my day to day activities. After a brief consultation with the GP he recommended Mr Bailey. I was fortunate to be seen at Sarum Road in Winchester. Mr Bailey was very thorough and recommended a MRI scan, followed by a repeat appointment. I was informed that an operation was needed to repair some of the damage in my knee. Mr Bailey explained the procedure and advised I would be back to normal within a few weeks. The procedure went extremely well, Mr Bailey saw me before and after my operation. At a follow up appointment 2 weeks later, he reassured me all was going well and he was pleased with the outcome of the operation. Another follow up appointment was made to ensure I was totally happy with my knee. I saw Mr Bailey again 8 weeks post operation and we are both happy with the progress I have made. My life has changed completely and I am able to do a lot more physical exercise than I would have imagined. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Mr Bailey to anyone. Mr B - if you are reading this, I sprinted on the treadmill yesterday – pain free – I can’t thank you enough! Kindest regards Cheryl
